My name is Henry and I make handmade candles by the order. I use all pure American beeswax, which is the most expensive wax. Most waxes come from China, but I only use bees wax made in the US.

Bees wax has been used for thousands of years to make candles. Bees wax candles were found in the Egyptian pyramids.

Nearly all candles are paraffin candles. Paraffin is made from oil, like car tires and plastic toys. Who wants to burn oil candles in their house? Bees wax is natural and has the slightly sweet scent of honey. Bees wax is used to make medicines, beauty products, and candies (yes, you can eat it). Most candle stores don't even sell bees wax candles because they are too expensive.

I use wood wicks; they crackle as they burn, last a long time, and are more reliable than other wicks. However, I can use cotton wicks upon request. My wicks are 100% cotton. Many wicks have unnatural or metallic contents -- why would you want to burn that stuff?

Most wicks are secured to the bottom with metal clips and/or glue. I fix my wood wicks to the bottom with a metal clip by just using beeswax and cotton wicks are fixed to the bottom with only beeswax.

These candles are exactly like candles that were made in the Middle Ages. Completely natural.
